I'm currently reading Marley and Me by John Grogan. Having two dogs myself, it's fun to read about another dog's antics and compare them to what my own do!
Keeping in the same vein with reading about animals, I think I'm going to read Dewey: The Small Town Library Cat Who Touched the World by Vicki Myron next. I can't read a book about dogs and not show cats any love, can I? You know how cats are, they might get offended by that haha :)! In all seriousness though, it really does look like a cute and cozy read.
My son saw the movie, not of his own volition, his gf made him lol, and from what he told me am wondering if the book and the movie are the same.
ReplyDeleteI have Marley and Dewey on my pile TBR. I also want add the one about Alex the Parrot just saw a documentary on him on tv. He was such a smart bird!
ReplyDeleteMy Grama read Marley and Me a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it. She said it reminded her of her favorite dog who died a long time ago. I actually didn't realize until recently that the movie was based on a book, but I heard it's sad so I haven't read the book or seen the movie! lol

I loved Marley & Me. It made me cry so much. Dewey was great too. I love pet books.
