- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you planning on reading next?
My answers:
I am currently reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. I love the girl power aspect of this book! It also reads a lot like a novel, but it is a memoir.
I recently finished reading Dewey by Vicki Myron. Such a cute, cozy read about a cat who finds his way into the hearts of an entire town.
I think I will read Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen next! Hubby and I went to see the movie, and I liked it, so I want to be able to compare movie and book :). It looks like such an intriguing read...about the circus in the Depression era.
"I am currently reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. I love the girl power aspect of this book! It also reads a lot like a novel, but it is a memoir." Oh, how I want to get and read this book. As A Christian it is on my new list of "to buy books." I carry around a tiny notebook to add to my list. http://postadaychallenge2011.com/2011/05/25/www-wednesdays-reading/#comments
ReplyDeleteHello, I'm visiting through WWW Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteEat, Pray, Love is a wonderful book. Although, I have to say her next book, Committed, I did not manage to get through.
I want to read and watch Water For Elephants. Hopefully I'll get to it someday. I did not read Eat, Pray, Love but did see the movie and liked it. I wonder if the book is as good?
ReplyDeleteI loved the Eat, pray, love movie! It's so positive!! HAve a great week!

I only made it to page six of Eat Pray Love then got absolutely annoyed with her - and I didn't like the movie either. I hope you have better luck than I did!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll enjoy Water for Elephants though. Both the book and movie are great - and I think husband enjoyed the movie even more than I did!!!

I've hear a lot of things about Water for Elephants both the book and the movie but I have a very hard time reading about/watching animals being abused. So I think that I'm going to pass on this one.
ReplyDeleteLike the sound of a cute cozy read...
