Today's meme asks us: What is the oddest thing you've ever read? (You know, something not a book, magazine, poem, short story or article).
My answer: I had to think about this question for a few minutes! My mom, sister and I took a trip to Paris a few years ago and I'd have to say that some of the signs around the city were hard to decipher :). I do know a tad bit of French, thanks to the foreign language requirement in highschool, but not really enough to get by in France on my own! What about all of you? :)
Happy last day of March, hello April and Easter!
I've forgotten almost all of the French that I learnt at school not that I was very good at it anyway.

That's so cool...I really want to go to France some day! Jealous!

Hey there, Rebecca, so glad to see your blog has taken off so quickly! I took Spanish in high school (and elementary school and middle school... too bad all I can remember is "hola" and how to count to ten...), and French always seemed to difficult to pronounce! I think probably the weirdest thing I've ever read is The Complete Idiot's Guide to Private Investigating... very enlightening and completely useless unless I need to find a runaway kid or tap my neighbor's phone line. ;)
