I'm a newly married, old fashioned type of gal who loves anything from the past...antiques, vintage clothing and decorations, historical books,museums, quaint small towns, and 1950's style values. I also love anything that has a hint of the "magical" in it, like the idea of fairies, unicorns, princesses and dragons! I know realistically that these things don't exist, but it is fun to imagine :). I love my husband Jason, and the life we are creating together. I was born and grew up in Ohio, but am currently living in Oklahoma while Jason finishes his medical residency. We are both so excited about our dream of relocating eventually to somewhere on the East Coast, either Maine or New Hampshire. No kids yet, but we have two puppies who are both named after our love of literature. Zeddicus, our Lhasa Apso, is the wizard from Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth novels. Atlas, our Morkie, is named after my husband's favorite book, Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand.

I realized how much fun blogging could be after my friend introduced me to the blogosphere world! I love expressing the creative and artistic side of myself, and this blog allows me to do that. I absolutely love reading and writing...hence, this book blog came into being! I hope to share the wonderful adventures that we go on through reading, with you, dear readers. Hopefully we can all gain some new wisdom and truths together. As for the genre of books which I will be reviewing...there will definitely be a variety. I used to read only Christian themed books, but this blog is my way of branching completely out of my comfort zone. I plan to read and review anything and everything, although, fantasy books are a particular favorite. But be on the lookout for reviews of nonfiction, mystery, romance, young adult and just plain old good fiction books.
